During the period 16.05-20.05.2022. in the village of Belitsa, Tutrakan municipality was held the second of a total of 6 planned international trainings of Bulgarian and Romanian volunteers within the project ROBG 332 “Joint Volunteering for a Safer Life”, funded by Interreg V-A Romania-Bulgaria. NADRB and the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations of Romania organize the trainings jointly, and the teachers are provided by DG PBZN and the Academy of the Ministry of Interior. The volunteers were acquainted with the potential risks of large-scale disasters and the opportunities for mutual assistance in the cross-border region between Bulgaria and Romania. In addition, they underwent theoretical and practical training on various topics, including forest fires, floods, search and rescue and others.
