On December 13 and 14, 2025, a training seminar for volunteers from the municipalities of Tutrakan, Glavinitsa and Alfatar was held at the Volunteer Training Center in the village of Belitsa. The event brought together participants dedicated to the mission of helping society in times of disasters and emergencies.
A special guest lecturer was Major General Assoc. Prof. Dr., Eng. Grudi Angelov, a lecturer at the Department of National Security at the University of Library Science and Information Technologies. His lecture focused on the importance of preparedness in crisis situations and provided valuable knowledge for disaster and emergency management and response.
The Mayor of Tutrakan Municipality, Dr. Dimitar Stefanov, welcomed the attendees and expressed gratitude for their dedication and desire to help the community. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives, which strengthen the preparation and coordination between volunteers and institutions in critical moments.
